Religious history repeats itself continually, and I believe it is repeating itself here. The Buddha came to "destroy" the caste system, and the monks here are, in a way, working on the same thing. I'm pretty sure there had to be a time of "storm before Budda's calm" but maybe I'm wrong. I think they are working toward a peaceful solution to protect Buddha's desires for equality. Sometimes to keep peace, we must make war, ironically, IMHO. And they are doing it as peacefully as possible. Gaoutama Buddha never except/approved violance. He control so may voilent people with his dhamma and loving kindness. The above buddhist monks came forward for the same reason to ask for peace happiness and harmoney for the enitire country living beings. Buddhist Monks have no vepons in thier hands but peaceful words. May All Living being be WELL and happy and Peacful. Military forces will suffer for ever for harming the Buddhist Monks and also killing Inocent people. But we all have to follow Buddha's path and spread Metta to every one who is angry towards each other. May every one in Burma find Peace and harmoney and happiness very soon..
